ABOUT THE DJP
The Dublin Jazz Podcast and gig listing is a project to create a central place where jazz, blues and world-music players can submit their gig listings and where visitors can easily see upcoming gigs, venue maps and hear previews of the music. A radio-style podcast show is uploaded with music by Irish jazz groups with upcoming concerts, plus gig listings. The project is built and maintained by Dennis Wyers.
Dennis Wyers is a composer and saxophone player based in Dublin. He write music for his group 'Rhombus' and he is an active member of the Irish Composers' Collective. He recently completed an MA in Contemporary Composition and has a BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre, along with a BA International Management from the University of Wales where he specialised in marketing.
