Comfortable in the role of composer, arranger, lyricist and bandleader, Edel Meade is one of the most promising young singers to emerge in recent years on the Irish creative music scene.

She sings original jazz-inspired material, popular songs and contemporary arrangements of music written by Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock and Michael Jackson, always surrounding herself with the most inventive and groovy musicians she can muster.
